Use and maintenance of power tools
a) Do not overload power tools. Select appropriate tools based on job requirements. Using suitable tools at rated speeds ensures optimal performance and safe operation.
b) Never operate tools with damaged switches. Any power tool that cannot be controlled by its switch poses serious hazards and must be repaired immediately.
c) Always unplug tools before making adjustments, changing accessories, or storage. This safety measure prevents accidental activation.
d) Store unused tools beyond children's reach. Never allow untrained persons or those unfamiliar with the manual to operate power tools. Untrained usage creates significant safety risks.
e) Maintain tools meticulously. Regularly inspect for misalignment, binding moving parts, broken components, or any condition affecting performance. Damaged tools must be repaired before use. Poor maintenance causes numerous accidents.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Well-maintained cutting edges resist binding and enable smoother operation.
g) Select tools, accessories and replacements according to manufacturer specifications, considering both work environment and task type. Using tools beyond their intended design parameters creates hazardous conditions.
